The Passion

It was amazing. It was more of an experience than a simple movie. It also replaced my slightly irrational fear of Samara with a wholly rational fear of Satan. And now I will attempt to go to bed, so long as the creepy sharp toothed Satan children don't try to hit me with rocks and shit.

Kurt Russell

I saw Miracle last week. Yeah this post is a bit late but I've had amebic disentari. So blah. Anyhoo.

This is not your typical Disney-fication of a story. This is a well told gem. Kurt Russell is the best I have ever seen him in and believe you me when I say I have nearly seen almost ALL of Kurt Russell's movies. I do cry on occasion at a movie. I do NOT however let my emotions get warped and manipulated easily by a movie. I was practially sobbing like a freakin' baby after this movie ended. Also I had an extreme desire to go watch Hockey or watch Joel Jones TALK about Hockey. Heh. Joel... hehheh. This is not a movie that someone will need vast Hockey knowledge to enjoy. I practically have NO knowledge of Hockey. No idea about rules, and I vaguely remember a time with Brett Hull played for the St Louis Blues. So for the normal non-Hockey fan this movie will not leave you sucking ice.

This movie is really worth everyone's time and money to see and see as soon as is possible. Highly recommended.

I just bought Battle Royale II on Ebay. Impressions forthcoming. Hell, DVD forthcoming, so impressions forth-forthcoming. Or something that I am unable to denote using those wacky prefixes.
