Ahem
"Rent Gigli. Then we'll talk. "
Ha HA! You almost fooled me. Almost. I can believe you when you say Pacino was aweful in Gigli, I thought he was aweful in the Recruit. Well, unneccesarily hammy.
But I will not see that shitstorm of a movie. Sorry, but watching craptastic cinema just isnt my cup of tea... well unless Nick Harvey is present and that movie is the 'Forbidden Zone", which by the by is making a midnight run in Houston in the coming weeks... I just may be persuaded to go see it... or not.

Jiggly
Yes, but Al Pacino had some pretty tough acts to follow in Gigli, Christopher Walken and horny retarded kid notwithstanding.

Gigli??
Was Pacino really bad in Gigli??? From most of the reviews I read I heard he was the only GOOD thing about that cinematic abortion. But, I thought Jason Robards in Julius Caesar as Brutus was HORRIBLE! And I consider Robards a great actor. So there you are... they are only human, they make mistakes.

I think that maybe your Teacher is on crank
But, then I consider how I like Keanu Reeves. I dont necessarily think He is a horrible actor as I have enjoyed him in a good many things. He has however turned in a couple of rotten performances... but name me one actor who hasnt? I do think that had these movies had better directors his performances would have been better... however If he were truely a GREAT actor he would have been good anyhow.
I need to go see a movie... seriously. The last film I saw in the Theatres was Starsky & Hutch. Which I thought was hilarious. I haven't seen "the Passion" or "ESotSM" or "The Ladykillers" or "Jersey Girl" or "Hellboy". I missed the theatrical run of "the Dreamers" here in Houston... and three of the last 5 movies I previously mentioned are ONLY playing in Houston. My town sucks. Only it wont be my town for much longer. To learn more of that go to my blog.
