Adjective Noun of the Adjective Noun

Okay, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Let's talk about it.

It's like waking up from a great dream, one you can remember like it was reality itself, yet was so encompassing in its surreality that there's no mistaking it for anything but a dream. But this dream, this beautiful, meaningful dream, it's not something you want to let go of. So you lay curled up in the warmth your bed and the sanctity of knowing that you don't have to be awake any time soon, gleefully remembering little snippets of the dream, all the while feeling a sense of longing to be back in that elusive nocturnal wonderland. Then your realize it's a movie, and you go see it again.

That's all. I'm terrible at reviewing movies that I like.

Speaking of movies that I like, Jersey Girl blew. Kevin Smith has gone on record as saying that it's "not for critics", which is funny, because speaking strictly as someone who's committed most of the dialogue in his first three movies to memory, it doesn't seem as though he made it for fans either. Or people who appreciate original storylines. Or anyone but him and his friends. Many aspiring critics here on the interweb have christened the film "Gigil 2," which I'll have to disagree with, but sadly, it's because I enjoyed Gigli more than Jersey Girl. True, it was bad, but it wasn't so bad that it actually made me angry afterwards. Nevertheless, he still seems like an upstanding chap, and I'll be eagerly in line for his next one all the same. Yay for poor moviemaking decisions!
